Rally at MP Mark Gerretsen’s office Friday, March 20, noon – 1pm: 234 Concession Street – Suite 303

Seniors for Climate Action Now! (SCAN!) and the Kingston Health Coalition (KHC) will hold a joint action at the office of MP, Mark Gerretsen, on Friday, March 20, noon – 1pm.

Representatives from the KHC and SCAN! will be presenting MP Gerretsen with a public letter and fact sheets asking for a prompt meeting to discuss our concerns.

Since last October (2025), SCAN! Kingston and KHC have made repeated requests to meet with MP Mark Gerretsen. We have been left out in the cold. This is unacceptable. At the same time, we are witnessing an abandonment of climate policy and failure by the government to defend the Canada Health Act. These are issues of urgent concern to Kingstonians and our MP should be taking them to the government. Listening to constituents and taking their concerns to the government is an important part of his job.

The rally at Mark Gerretsen’s office is part of nationwide campaigns by Seniors for Climate Action Now! and by Health Coalitions across Canada.
